Tony Hockey
PRINCIPAL
Tony has over 20 years of experience serving CEOs and executive teams in Australia, Asia and the UK on strategy, business performance and growth in the global asset & wealth management industry.
In advisory roles, he has assisted large global investment managers with new market entry initiatives, M&A, strategy development, turnaround, divestments and transformation. Clients have included AMP Capital, Aberdeen Asset Management, Capita Asset Services, Columbia Threadneedle, FNZ, Hermes Investment Management, Legal & General Investment Management, Macquarie Asset Management and Pendal.

Tony has held executive roles at Henderson Global Investors (London), including as the group’s head of strategy and investor relations, and ING Australia as head of strategy and corporate advice. He commenced his consulting career with PwC where he performed over 20 business performance improvement initiatives for clients across a diverse range of industries in the Asia Pacific region.

Tony has held non-executive director roles at Clime Capital Ltd and Accountancy Invest Funds Management.
​
Tony has a Bachelor of Economics degree from Sydney University; two Masters degrees from the University of NSW and Macquarie Graduate School of Management; and has successfully completed the Advance Management and Leadership Programme and the Climate Emergency Programme at Said Business School, University of Oxford.
